Welcome to our Sound Ministry Basic Audio Engineering and technicians class Website!

Welcome to the Mt. Pisgah and Voice of Deliverence Sound Ministry. Our goal is to educate interested church members in learning how to operate, maintain, and assist in the operation of the church sound system and our growing Tape Ministry .

Events and Announcements:


Our Sound Ministry was founded and our first Class was offered at the church November 22, 2003 and we celebrated our 5th Anniversary.

Our Last Class sessions were December, 2008. Classes are held each Tuesday at 7:00 pm Please contact me for details and to Register.

I will be contacting you in the near future about the revised class schedules so stay tuned.

There are some updates Please check the site carefully. Last class we cover House of worship Engineer ethics and the importance of team work.

Microphones 101 Lessons

Please review all previous lesson material that was handed out. The last handout was tips on dealing with feedback and acoustical layering.

In the News

Our Church sound system was desgined by KC Sound Enterprise and installed by Pro Audio Sound of Sewell, New Jersey. The system is State of the art system and has many features to enhance the hearing of Gods Word.


The system is stereo 3 way active using Mackie componets including 18' active sub woofers, 8 bus Allen Heath 40 channel console, DBX 1/3rd octave equalisers, DBX compressors for main vocals, wireless ALS for our hearing impaired and Hearback technology inear monitoring for our musicians.
